Advocate for Period Products in Your School
- Reach out to your principal
- Set up a meeting
- Prepare your ask — focus on the need and how students will benefit
- Present the to your administrator
- Offer to help assist in the implementation of the program
- Thank them for their time
- Be sure to follow up
Contact your Legislator
- Identify your state senator and state representative
- Find their e-mail or phone number through their website
- Send an e-mail or make phone call — items to include
- Introduce yourself as their constituent
- State your reason for contacting them — ie: ending the period tax and/or free period products in schools
- Share your experience
- Be specific and brief
- Be accurate
- Thank them for their time
Host a Product Drive
- Find a location (work, schools, community space) — work with people in charge of the space for approval and logistics
- Recruit volunteers
- Advertise — social media, word of mouth, press releases, all are great options
- Collect and donate!
- Share your results and the impact

- Advocate and raise awareness through your social media channels
- Get creative, share your story and experiences, and spread the word to end period poverty and stigma
