APPLETON (WLUK) — The Monthlies Project reached a major milestone in Northeast Wisconsin, as it hit one million products distributed to local schools and organizations. The non-profit began as a small volunteer-led effort in 2021 to end period poverty. Organizers say students were missing school because they didn’t have access to period products.
